Stop supporting the NRA

缺点： Hertz, please stop supporting the NRA. If I knew before I rented the car that your company supports the NRA, I would have picked another company. I will not choose Hertz again until you cut ties with the NRA.

Debit Cards Not Allowed

优点： The price seemed fair if I hadn't been refused for having a bank debit card.

缺点： Having my card accepted when I booked the car, but refused when I was dropped off to pick up the rental, stranding me at the airport!

Not dependable

优点： Nothing. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone who has a later flight.

缺点： Our flight was late by a hour to our destination. By the time we went to pick up our car, Hertz was closed. I had to purchase a new rental from a different company last minute. Hertz never called or gave us a heads up about them closing. Very frustrating at the time.

Car was Ok, customer service wasn't

优点： Car was small but clean.

缺点： At the desk I was hit by a broad array of upcharges and upsell attempts; found out that allowing my spouse to drive the car would double what I had paid. Not going to use Hertz again, probably also won't use Kayak for car rentals.

They wouldn't even give us a car!

优点： There was nothing to like! When picking up from an airport if you do not have a flight departing they will not give you a car. Plus the fact that they require you to make payment with a credit card vs a debit card. Will never do business with them again

缺点： You need to freaking change your policy period thank God we bought the insurance with our purchase of the rental agreement. You need to accept debit cards period absurd that you don't. And who would have thought that you have to mandate having a flight to get a rental car what kind of moron thought of that
