The property is located on 400 acres of mountain on the slopes of Cerro Chato Volcano, allowing a panoramic view of the valley and a perpendicular view of the Arenal Volcano from the path of the walk to the Laguna del Cerro Chato. In addition, the lodge is located only 300 metres from the Rio Fortuna Waterfall, which is one of the 2 main natural attractions of the Arenal Volcano Fortuna after the volcano. This small Lodge is based on sustainable development and the environmental awareness of its owner and his team, who aim to use natural resources in a friendly way, providing 100% of food production from organic sources and using hydropower.
